Hey everyone,

I'm back again this Sunday with THE SUNDAY SESSIONS, which showcases the best emerging and established Artists, DJs, Musicians and Performers from around the world.

This weeks theme is TWISTED, featuring very special guest and crowd favorite REID SPEED, along with OOAH THE TURNTABLE JUNKIE dropping the best trip-hop, breaks and drum & bass you'll find anywhere.

Of course the whole session will be recorded so if you can't make it out, be sure to check back later for a podcast of the night as well as Reid and Ooah's profiles and set lists.

After 2 successful drum & bass cd releases (2001's "Resonance" and 2003's "Life After Dark"), 3 national tours, a DJ/modeling job with Triple 5 Soul, a stint as the DJ for the WB's Jamie Kennedy Experiment, and countless DJ appearances at north America's top clubs & parties, the USA's First Lady of Drum & Bass is taking the rest of the dance music world by storm. Already widely respected as a pioneer of drum & bass and 2 step garage in the US, Reid is never content to rest. She is now a resident at Spundae in Los Angeles, her Icebreaker party bringing in worldwide breakbeat talent the last saturday of each month.

You can see it in her face, as she closes her eyes to lock the mix, that the love of music runs deep in her blood. A born & raised New Yorker with nearly 10 years of experience behind the decks, she has called LA home for the past 3 years. Whether she is working a movie premiere (Pirates of the Carribean, Texas Chainsaw Massacre), a boutique launch (J.Lindeberg, Diesel), the NAMM show (for Numark), a club (like Buzz, Sonar, Spundae, the Asylum), Reid undeniably brings the danger to the dancefloor. Her diverse style is unique, her selection ranges from all genres of drum & bass to nu- skool breaks, 2 step, tribal house, electro house, and mash ups- sometimes all in one set.

These days, in between shows, Reid has been focused on getting her original production out into the world. Reid & Jon(S) signed new skool ragga track "The Bizzle" to Big H Recordings. (www.bighrecordings.com) 2 more tracks have been completed with the Junglist Platoon's Sense, and are making the rounds of the drum & bass elite on CDR. Another project involves her with the breaks collective Toksin (Distinctive Breaks, Y4K.) And most of her other "free" time is spent working on an upcoming album with hip-hop/drum & bass/horrorshow DMC champ DJ Swamp. OOAH is a master at the art of turntablism and a wizard on the wheels of steel. He's a southern fried kid from New Orleans bombing the west coast underground with style and grace. Residing in Los Angeles and now connected with the Los Angeles Breakbeat Association, he rocks the dance floor hard with a mix of original tracks along with the hottest cuts out on wax. Dropping a variety of flavors from bass grinding mid-tempo tech-hop to electronic mindbending breakbeats to feet-stomping drum & bass and jungle to psycedelic dream-rthythms and intellectual glitch frequencies.
